PAMA hosts the "Value-Added Selling and New Technologies" workshop at the Southwest Industrial Fabrics Association (SWIFA) 2012 Convention on Friday, April 27, in Austin, TX. Bill Foster, Tri-Vantage sales guru, will present on how to sell not just awnings and canopies, but a complete customer solution. Randi Kaplan DellaVechia, Kaplan's Enterprises and Miko Green, JF Magic, will show you how to use fiber optics for awning graphics - giving you a high-tech application to offer your customers. You can also learn more about digital graphics for awnings and canopies from Dave Bess, Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures. Help your clients expand their living or seating space and be more comfortable outdoors with solar shades and screen solutions. This session will be presented by Wayne Davidson, Rainier Industries. Architect Education – Awnings: Enhancing Your Design
PAMA’s exclusive American Institute of Architects (AIA) education program, Awnings: Enhancing your design, provides PAMA members the means to meet with and educate local architectural firms. PAMA members who actively use the program experience a fair amount of success with it!
“ We’ve gotten business as a result of doing this presentation,” states Andy Morse, IFM, of Ohio Awning & Manufacturing Co.
The program consists of a presentation and script that provide information about fabric awnings and canopies including awning styles and fabrics, up-to-date design ideas, the energy saving benefits of awnings, an overview on attachments and graphics. Afterwards, the PAMA member can present about their own company’s projects, services and capabilities.
